My name is Caitlin and my fiancé is John. We are getting married May 8th, 2021. 🤗
Our story:
John and I started dating 7 years ago. We knew we were head over heels very quickly into us meeting and have been inseparable ever since. Throughout the years we have experienced many firsts together; we moved into our first home, traveled from country to country (and continue to do so) and have welcomed three fur babies into our lives. Our love for one another continues to grow everyday that we're together. We are so excited for our next chapter to begin: being husband and wife!
This is one of our engagement photos from the snowstorm in January!
Chris and I met in 2019 at my work, such a bad idea. But we became very close friends through work and mutual friends. I separated from my daughters father in March 2020 and had no anticipation of dating.
We have a mutual best friend, Kate Nipper who is a local photographer. We were all hanging out everyday during quarantine for months. Felt like family. In October, we were at a pumpkin patch and Chris was like we're in a relationship right? And i said I mean I guess so? We basically live together?
Well on Christmas Eve Chris told asked me (and my two perfect daughters) to spend the rest of our lives with him because we feel like home for him. And here we are in full planning mode and buying a house. Honestly, such a whirlwind of a year, but we are so incredibly happy!
Thanks for hearing our story!
Ashton and I are both Virginians ; I grew up outside of DC and he is from Roanoke. After both traveling the country in search of our own stories, our Virginian hearts found each other in Music City. We both felt a pull to Nashville, TN, and now we know it was because our stories ended with each other. We are so excited to celebrate our love with our dear friends and families on October 9th !
In typical millennial fashion, we met online through our mutual ties to Virginia. After sharing my parents story of relocating to Roanoke , we quickly realized our families live 20 minutes apart. A family friend I met in Northern Virginia even went to high school with Ashton. If this isn't a sign from above we don't know what is! After our very first date at East Nashville Beer Works in Nashville , our love took "flight" (our fellow beer lovers will appreciate that pun!) and the rest is history.
My Destany....
I met Destany October 12th 2016 when I was returning her wallet after my guys had to repossess her car!
She was a beautiful woman who worked in a local bank. I took interest and made contact with her. Two days later we met for lunch and have been inseparable since.
This beautiful woman turned out to only be only 19 (I was 42). Since that day,she has been my rock. Helping run our business, raising my two kids and we took on another gorgeous little girl I call our bonus baby.
In December of 2019, I proposed to her during our local Christmas parade utilizing the Franklin County Cheerleading Squad. The girls on the float held up signs that said “Destany, will you marry me”!!!Luckily for me she said YES!! It totally brought the parade to a halt. To the point the photographers had so many pictures and we even made the front page of the paper!
Since that day we have bought our first house and are scheduled to marry on May 1st 2021.

Here is our story:
Mano and I met while working in the ICU, I as a nurse and he as a resident physician. We began dating about 6 months after meeting and I couldn’t ask for a better partner to share my life with. "The Year of the Nurse,” 2020, became a challenging year for everyone, including ourselves. It put a strain on our work life and also our home life. I lost my nursing job early in the year due to low census at the hospital, however I needed to find work. After much discussion, stress, and tears I ended up taking a travel nurse contract in New York City from mid April through June. It was hard on so many levels. Mano was left home to care for our two dogs, while working tirelessly in the Emergency Department 60 plus hours per week. I headed to the heart of Brooklyn during the worst time of the COVID pandemic. I was working 6 days a week in the ICU where I experienced more heartbreak and death than I could ever have imagined. The only thing that kept me going during that time was Mano and his constant reminders of his love for me. He would send flowers to my airbnb every other week. I would arrive home after a long day at work to find that he had ordered me dinner. He would text me throughout the day with words of encouragement such as “you’ve got this love” and “you are the strongest woman I know.” Through these acts and these words, I knew that not only could I get through each exhausting shift, but we, as a couple will be able to make it through anything life throws at us. Those were some of the most trying weeks of my life and most stressful period in our relationship, however, we powered through and have come out of the year 2020 stronger than before. Mano proposed to me 2 days before Christmas atop the Key West lighthouse at sunset with our mothers present. It was more special than I could have ever dreamed. I love you Mano and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you!
